Indian Coast Guard invites application for the post of Store Keeper Grade II, Engine Driver, Motor Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade), Carpenter (Skilled), Multi Tasking Staff (Peon), Lascar 1st Class, Multi Tasking Staff (Sweeper/ Safaiwala).

Eligibility

Post Name	Qualification
Store Keeper Grade-II	Essentials:- i) 12th Pass from recognized Board or University. ii) One year’s experience in handling Stores from any recognized firm or Central or State Government Organization or Public Sector Undertaking.
Engine Driver	Essentials:- i)Matriculation pass or its equivalent from recognized Boards. (ii) Certificate of competency as Engine Driver from a recognized Government Institute or equivalent. Desirable:- (iii) Two years service as Sarang on a Vessel of over four hundred Boat Horse Power.
Motor Transport Driver	(i) 10″ Standard pass. (ii) Must possess valid driving license for both heavy and light Motor Vehicles, (iii) Should have at least two years experience in driving Motor Vehicles, (iv) Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles).
Carpenter (Skilled)	Essential: (i) Matriculation or equivalent (ii) Should qualify a trade entrance examination. (iii) Should have successfully completed apprenticeship from a recognized/ reputed workshop in the relevant trade under Apprenticeship Act 1961 or under any other recognized Apprenticeship Scheme, OR Should have completed training course in the relevant trade from an ITI recognized for this purpose and have 1 year trade experience. OR 4 years experience in the trade for which no training Is available in the Industrial Training Institute or other recognized institutions,
Multi-Tasking Staff Peon	(i) Matriculation or equivalent pass. (ii) Two years experience as Office Attendant.
Lascar 1st Class	(i) Matriculation or equivalent pass. (ii) Three years service on a Ship or Craft,
Multi Tasking Staff (Sweeper/Safaiwala)	Essential:- (I) Matriculation or equivalent pass. (i) Two years experience in cleanship in any recognized firm.

How to Apply for Indian Coast Guard

Application form should be filled either in English or Hindi The applications with duly affixed self attested color photograph should be accompanied by Xerox copies of the documents listed below, duly self attested with name and date. No original certificates are to be forwarded along with the application form:-

(a) Valid Photo ID proof.

(b) Matriculation or equivalent marksheet and certificate.

(d) Latest Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC) for reserved category Candidates.

(e) Experience certificate.

(f) NOC from the employer for presently serving in any Government Organization.

(g) Two latest passport size colour photographs.

(h) Applicants are to enclose a separate blank envelope with Rs. 50/- postal stamp (pasted on the envelope) addressed to themselves with the application.
